What are your opening times?

We are open:  Monday to Friday 0700 — 2200, Saturday and Sunday 0830 — 2000 and our off-peak hours are: Monday to Friday 0900 — 1700, Saturday and Sunday 0830 — 2000

What does 'no contract' mean?

At Barons Health & Fitness Centre we have a range of payment options which have no set tie in period. On our standard monthly direct debit memberships you are not contractually tied to us for any specified period of time and can if you wish cancel your membership at any time. If you are on our standard Direct Debit monthly membership you must give us a written cancellation no later than the 25^th of the month.

We also offer discounts on our direct debit memberships if you sign up for a minimum of 12 months. You can save over £60 a year by signing up to Reward 12 month agreement. For more details about any of our membership deals call us on 01723 357740

Please note that if you choose to pay upfront for the year and take advantage of our great 12 months for the price of 10 offer then you will be contractually tied to the club for the 12 month period

I have heard that you are run by the council. Is this true?

No, we have links with the council and have an agreement to offer the facilities at Barons Health & Fitness Centre at rates which are broadly comparable to the council. We operate our own membership scheme and membership with the council does not automatically give you access to Barons.

Do I need to have an induction?

The purpose of the induction is to give new members an introduction to the machines and procedures that we operate at Barons Health & Fitness Centre.  You are not obliged to undertake an induction if you do not wish so. If you have used a gym before you may sign a disclaimer negating the need for an induction.

Are there lockers?

Yes, just pop your belongings in, take the key with you whilst you train and remember to leave it in the door when you finish. You don't need to deposit any money.
